VSA Tabs are designed to help you work more efficiently with your students. If you haven't changed the original tabs that were set up during your initial FLVS training, you need to review the VSA Webinar below.
The Teacher Dashboard provides you the ability to view specific student information quickly by setting up Tabs with specific information and using Filters to drill down to exactly what you need to see.
This Tab uses four Filters to show students who are in Grace Period, are less than 20% complete, and have 14 days left until they are withdrawn. Reach out and check on these students. They may be confused and not know what to do to get started. Always give students the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise.
This Tab uses four Filters to show students who are in Grace Period, are less than 20% complete, and have 7 days left until they are withdrawn. These students should be contacted to find out if they plan to work. If they aren't, you can change their status to Withdrawn.
There are many different Tabs that you can set up to help you manage your student load. This link will take you to our MDVS Instructor Google Drive - FLVS Help Files - VSA and Educator Support. There are many resources in the folder, but specifically, you can look at the VSA Filters Folder and the document VSA Filters for Instructors for pictures of various scenarios.
REMEMBER: You cannot access these links until you are signed in to your MDVS Google Account.
