Using Mail/Calendar Apps
ITS recommends using your Browser, and Google Mobile Apps with your NEC Google account.
Some members of the community may prefer to use other tools (including Apple Mail and Calendar or Outlook) to manage their Google email and Calendars. ITS provides best effort support for Google email and calendar in these applications.
Disabling your previous O365/Exchange email account in Outlook
After the migration, you will need to remove your O365 Exchange account from Outlook. Otherwise, Outlook will continue to attempt to connect to the disabled account.

Installing Google Apps (for the first time) on your smartphone or tablet
Google provides smartphone/tablet apps for Mail, Calendar, Drive, Chat and Meet, as well as apps for reviewing and editing Google Docs, Spreadsheets and Slides. These can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
Email - Search for Gmail (includes Chat and Meet)
Calendar - Search for Gcal or Google Calendar
Drive - Search for Google Drive
Adding your NEC Account to Existing Google Apps (if you are already a Google user)
Gmail - Click on the account profile icon in the gmail app window and choose Add another account.
Gcal - Click on the menu icon and scroll to Settings. Scroll to Manage accounts and then Add another account.
Drive - Click on the account profile icon in the drive app window and choose Add another account.
Using Apple Mail and Calendar with Google
From the Mail or Calendar menu choose Accounts to add a new account.
Select Google from the account type and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the set up.
Using Outlook for Managing Google Email and Calendar

To add your NEC Google account to an Outlook app on your phone or mobile device, use the Add Account feature (found by touching the account profile picture).
