When you have established the date of your departure, it is important to inform the Hesburgh Center main office as soon as possible, as various arrangements must be made.
Notify us of your departure date as soon as possible, preferably one month in advance of your departure.
Provide a forwarding address and telephone number to the Hesburgh Center main office for any US mail that might be delivered to Kellogg after your departure.
Moving to a new institutional home? Leave the name of the institution, your title, and contact information so we can stay in touch.
Keep Kellogg on your list of friends to notify in the future whenever you change institutions, address, telephone, fax, or e-mail.
Transfer any personal files saved on the Kellogg computer to your personal storage device.
Return all ND library books/materials.
Contact any local institutions (banks, doctor’s offices, credit card companies) and magazine subscriptions with your forwarding address.
Arrange to return your office keys, parking hangtag and gate card key to the main office. Failure to return A-3 parking permit tags will result in forfeiture of the $50 deposit.
Once you return to your home institution, we hope you will continue to stay engaged with the Kellogg Institute community around the world.
You will be able to keep in touch with the activities of Kellogg faculty, visiting fellows, and students through the Kellogg website and Facebook page.
We will be happy to publicize new scholarly work, jobs, awards, or other professional achievements, with a special interest in work based in part or in full on your Kellogg fellowship. Send your news to Denise Wright.
You will receive information on the annual Visiting Fellowship competition each year to pass on to good candidates in your scholarly circles.
We promise to invite you to Kellogg Institute activities held in your region!
Occasionally, we may ask you to review papers submitted to the Kellogg Institute Working Paper series.
Although we don’t usually publicize non-scholarly news, please do not hesitate to send personal and family news for us to share amongst ourselves! You will always be a member of the Kellogg Institute community and we want to stay in touch.
