Surveillance Testing
The COVID-19 Response Unit worked hard over the winter break to increase testing capacity for the Spring semester. This semester, the University has recommended testing every other week for faculty, staff, graduate students, guest scholars and research visitors who will be on campus two days a week or more. We will also be using adaptive testing, where we select people for additional testing based on the results of surveillance and diagnostic testing.
The University has moved to a strictly appointment-based approach this semester to best utilize our testing capacity. It is important to show up for surveillance testing, even if you’re called outside of your appointment day.
Wondering how surveillance testing will work this semester? Here are some videos on what to expect when you show up for testing.
