Visual Art Awards

Join us for this time-honored annual celebration of student creativity, learning, and achievement across our school. This is a day to celebrate the many ways our students grow, create, explore, and contribute throughout the year. Come see what’s happening across our three Visual Arts programs, discover student clubs and enrichment opportunities, learn about upcoming travel experiences, and get caught up on all the exciting things happening in the Visual Arts Department.

The first hour is celebrates all student artwork with student-curated galleries, 2D artwork, ceramics and sculpture, advanced student displays, and special projects. Enjoy pottery and plant sales, face painting, snacks, and live pottery demonstrations, while discovering the many ways students can get involved in the Visual Arts at North Country. Bring your family and friends and experience the creativity, energy, and accomplishments of our students firsthand. There is always a pottery raffle!

The second hour is our Visual Arts Awards Ceremony—a special opportunity to recognize and celebrate students for their artistic achievement, dedication, growth, and contributions throughout the year. Our principals are always proud to call each student’s name and witness them receive their Artistic Excellence Award. We acknowledge our classroom aides and present the Rita Braun Scholarship and The Visual Art Department Award. Come cheer on our artists, celebrate their accomplishments, and be part of this meaningful annual tradition where all learners and their achievements are celebrated.
