Digital Photography

Digital Photography will introduce students to the world of photography. Students will learn photographic terminology and the workings of a camera, as well as the history and development of photography. During the course students will learn about the various camera modes and how they work, composition, mastering the use of light, as well as completing 10 fun photography assignments. By the end of the semester long course students will have created a digital portfolio of 30 images, five illustrating the various camera modes, ten using various tips described in the text for composition, ten of twenty fun photography assignments, and 5 showing the mastery of various types of lighting.
