Video Production Planning

For an effective instructional video, planning and organization of content is vital for its success. For this assignment, I created a Padlet in which I presented all my necessary planning aspects such as content, script, equipment used, primary audience, etc. Check it out!

Lessons Learned & Connection to Goals 

This specific project was tasked during a course I was taking in tandem with my Teaching and Learning with Digital Video course, so I was learning the developments of production in depth, and I decided to take these principals to this specific project. I was able to create a comprehensive video production plan outlining the specifics I would need to produce a video in which I was the subject matter expert on. 

I utilized my video editing skills to overlay engaging graphics and b-roll to the video to keep learners interested throughout the 13 minute timeframe. Overall, becoming the subject matter expert myself on this project allowed me learn how to research and develop an outline, script, and storyboard for a video that I had complete control over.
