The utilization of eLearning design softwares and platforms is one of the main required skillsets of an Instructional Designer. In my ECI514 class, we became familiarized and masters of Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, and Camtasia Studios. Because these are some of the most used platforms within the eLearning space, our professors felt it was necessary that we received the proper education on how to best create engaging online lessons with these applications. During this course, we were given real world based projects to create online lessons.
For this project, we were tasked in creating two interactive online lessons using Articulate Storyline 360. We were provided all the content necessary to build these lessons, and were given the creative freedom to design it however we would like. It was a very engaging educational experience in figuring out to display and organize the content, and best ways on doing so.

Overall, my work in ECI514: Design & Delivery of Online Instruction allowed me to gain experience experimenting with different online educational design platforms, apply adult learning principals to real world based projects, and gain insights and edits from my professor and fellow classmates. I was able to gain proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, and Camtasia Studios, which aided me greatly in applying for internships for the summer, as I could come into a position with the knowledge and experience needed for an instructional designer. Overall, this course developed my instructional design skills considerably and allowed me to fully create educational experiences from start to finish.
