In my sophomore year of undergrad at NCSU, I enrolled in TDE205: Desktop Publishing & Imaging. Completely blind of what the class would entail, I was nervous yet excited to be taking my first design course. In this class, we learned how to navigate and design through Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, by completing final projects dedicated to each platform.
As a designer, Adobe Creative Cloud is a language that needs to be learned and communicated as the use of Adobe platforms are widely used throughout the design space. I was fortunate enough to learn these platforms early in my college experience, as it allowed me to build upon it as I continued my use throughout my education.
In learning this language, and being able to yield it with ease, I have had the advantage of the ability to create and design graphics, edit photos, and create products through these platforms to elevate my design skillset.
