The purpose of the Senior Retreat is for the graduating cohort to reconnect and cultivate a stronger bond through a shared travel experience; reaffirm commitment to the Goodnight Scholars Program; reflect on the previous three years and the final year ahead; and plan for senior year social activities as part of the Goodnight Scholars programming calendar. This will be the last time senior retreat takes place in Savannah Georgia. Starting with the Class of 2027 the senior retreat will move to a new location.
The Senior Retreat takes place annually on the Friday through Sunday of Labor Day Weekend in September.
Registration for the Senior Retreat for the Class of 2026 has been emailed to eligible scholars. Registration is now closed.
Yes. Cancellation of your registration will only be accepted in severe situations such as major medical or family emergencies. Proof of said emergencies must be provided. Any participant who withdraws their registration after the deadline for any non-major emergency will be required to pay for the individual trip expenses associated with their participation (estimated at approximately $500-$750 per person).
Transportation, lodging, activities, and most meals are covered by the Goodnight Scholars Program. Participants must pay for any meals or activities during designated free time (estimated at $25-$50 per person for the weekend).

Tours of PinPoint Heritage Museum
Dinner at Vic's on the River and the Pirate house
Daily group reflections on NC State and Goodnight Scholars Program experiences, as well as discussing goals for the future
