Goodnight Explorers inspires scholars to explore different locations, art and interesting places in the triangle. Each week, we will release a new Goodnight Explorers location in the Monday Memo that will challenge you to explore all that Raleigh, the triangle or beyond has to offer. By visiting locations you can earn points so you can get some free swag at the end of the fall semester. Goodnight Explorers will start on August 25th, when the location is announced at the All Goodnight Meeting.
How to earn points: You will receive one point for visiting the assigned location (and taking an iconic photo of course). You can receive one bonus point for going with another Goodnight Scholar and an additional one point for going with someone who is not in your cohort and that you haven’t gone with before. Everyone present must be pictured to receive points. Submit your photos here.
Each week the challenge will run from Monday - Sunday. You have to submit your photo by Sunday at 11:59pm to be eligible.
(Note: If you do not submit your photo on time you will be deducted 1 point. If you submit it after Monday you will receive 0 points)
At the end of the semester, we will have epic prizes for scholars that attain 15 points, 30 points, and the most points.
So Goodnights, let’s get exploring!
Scholars can earn the following prizes at the end of the 12 weeks.
15 points - Fanny Pack or Belt Bag
30 points - Hoodie
AND Most points or The Perfect Explorers - The scholar who earns the most points will get a fantastic prize of their choosing depending on how many people receive the most points.
So Goodnights, let’s get exploring!
