Math: Numbers to 10

•  Missing numbers in a sequence

• more than, less / fewer than, most, least, greatest

• The number of X is how many more or less than the number of Y. (X and Y being objects like, dogs, cats, red beads, white beads, desks, chairs, etc.

• Put numbers in order from 

• Start number bonds to make numbers ti 10

Literacy:  Pre-handwriting skills

• Handwriting and phonograms (following the Literacy Essentials program from Hillsdale College)

Literature : Read alouds to include:

• Lion, Witch and Wardrobe

• Hansel and Gretel

History / Geography: 

• Compass Rose: N,S,E and W

• Work on our map books

• islands, peninsulas  and coats

Science: The Moon

• stars, sun and moon

• planets intro
