Reading Lists - for practice at home

Our literacy program is a read-to-write program. You can find more information about it on my Literacy Essentials page.  We practice writing approximately 48 words for 2 weeks. Then, we take a master spelling test. The words then become a reading list which is sent home for reading accuracy and fluency.

The first list (LIST A) was sent home on Friday October 31st. Please practice reading the list with your child daily if you can. There is a place at the bottom of the list to write the date and the score. The goal is for the student to read the list accurately in under one minute. Please continue practicing the list until the goal has been achieved.  Thank you for your support at home:)
