Math fact practice - just a few minutes a day- is highly recommended. To prevent struggling in the fall, it is important that entering 2nd graders are fluent in addition and subtraction within 20. If addition and subtraction within 10  has still not been mastered to fluency, it is so very important to get that down first:)
