Unit Information

Composed of over 100 cadets, Cherokee High School NJROTC is the largest unit in Area 8.

The mission statement of Navy Junior ROTC programs nationwide is "to install in Cadets the value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment."

Thus, each cadet is tasked with becoming the best version of themselves not only for themselves, but for their peers and community.

Cherokee NJROTC's cadets volunteer countless hours to help build their community, support fellow JROTC units, and those in need.
