EDF-671: History of American Education

The History of American Education course required me to inform my knowledge about the American Education system from the era of the Puritans to the Trump era. Through the course readings and required textbook, I was able to annotate and scaffolded historical information about how the United States education system was transformed from a common school movement to one that reflects a free commerce school system, where parents and children have the option to transfer to any school of their choosing. Written reports about the history of American education are documented in my seven theme paper assignment, and emphasized different elements about how the school system of the United States of American has changed throughout history.
