Through my Bachelor of Social Work program, I have experienced personal and professional growth. Engaging with diverse casework and practical placement has deepened my understanding of social work principles, values, and guidelines that promote professional development. The Bachelor of Social Work Standards are important as they allow the student to a movement to reflect on the journey of practicum in all interventions to underline areas of development and strengths in micro, mezzo, and macro settings.
BSW standard played a huge role in my learning experience and professional development. Today I know that when reporting clients' issues, it is crucial to safeguard their identity. In this way, the social worker protects the client's privacy and dignity unless consent is granted and when legally required to prevent harm.
