The Game
What is Rebuilt?
<Under Construction>
REEFSCAPE is the 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) game, presented by Haas, as part of the FIRST DIVE season, which emphasizes ocean exploration and conservation. In this game, two alliances of three teams each compete to strengthen and restore coral reef ecosystems through various tasks. The main game elements consisted of 2 pieces called Coral (PVC Pipes) and Algae (Green Rubber Balls).
Robots collect and place Corals into designated areas on their alliance's Reef to simulate coral restoration, and gather Algae to process them through their alliance's Processor, contributing to the health of the reef or in the Nets on the top of a structure called the Barge.
Endgame: In the final 30 seconds, robots attempt to climb the Cages on the Barge. The position of these Cages can vary, offering different challenges and point opportunities.
The game encourages teams to design versatile robots capable of precise placement, efficient collection, and climbing, all while promoting themes of environmental stewardship and innovation.
