Rapid React was the 2022 FRC game, sponsored by Boeing, and focused on the theme of transportation and logistics. The game involved two alliances of three teams each working together to score points by completing various transportation-related tasks.

Cargo Scoring: Teams gathered and launched large, inflatable balls, called "cargo," into a central goal known as the "Hub." The Hub had two levels, with the upper goal awarding more points than the lower one. Each alliance aimed to score 20 cargo in total to earn a ranking point.

Hangar Endgame: In the last 30 seconds of the match, teams attempted to climb a series of bars in the "Hangar" located at each end of the field. There were four bars of increasing height, and points were awarded based on how high each robot climbed. A fully successful climb across the alliance could result in a significant point bonus

Autonomous Period: The match began with a 15-second autonomous phase where robots operated without human control, attempting to score cargo and earn bonuses by positioning themselves strategically for the teleoperated phase.

The game had a strong emphasis on teamwork, with alliances needing to coordinate their cargo-scoring efforts while also ensuring they could successfully climb in the Hangar during the endgame.
