Time: 7:30am - 8:15am

Sports have always been a part of my life. Whether it was playing soccer at 5 years old or playing flag football at 30, I always had love for athletics. At the age of 10 I was able to play in the Pop Warner Super Bowl and later in my college years played Basketball for Norwalk Community College. Even today, I still play in numerous adult leagues, for flag-football, softball, and basketball. I always had a drive for any and all sports. With any sport you have to be in top condition so naturally I would hit the gym in the offseason trying to get better and stay in good shape.

As I got older it has been less sports, so I decided to make fitness my sport. The sport now is life and health and now as a proud father I want to be in the best shape of my life not only for myself but also for my son. I enjoy being active and have a great joy in helping others reach their goal. I decided to leave my Marketing job behind a computer all day to become a fitness professional dealing with real people and real life issues. Best move I ever made in my career and I now help people change their lives for the better too. I truly love what I do!!!

Yoga Teacher, Jewelry Maker and affectionate cat owner. My goal is to transform yoga newbies into full-fledged yogis that find healing through awareness, kindness, and mindful movement. The only thing I love more than a kitty purr is helping people like you feel better in their bodies!

As a kid I had a lot of energy that my parents easily funneled into numerous activities. I danced, played t-ball and soccer, and eventually fell in love with gymnastics. I practiced almost daily and competed on weekends throughout my grade school years. I was lucky to never have a major injury until junior year of high school, when I injured my back. Using my ego driven yet still developing brain, I pushed through the pain and continued doing the things that I loved, which only made matters worse. I didn’t allow myself to feel the pain or listen to my body and take it easy. I see this everyday; we don’t listen to our bodies and give them what they need to heal (I’m looking at you there on the other side of the screen).

I also see many of us taking care of those around us, sharing our loving kindness with them, but not always caring for ourselves. I want to help you get out of that cycle and begin to share that kindness you show to others with yourself. To help you bring awareness to how you are feeling and offer yourself the kindness it needs to heal and move forward.

I found yoga in grad school when a good friend dragged me to the new yoga studio in town. Before that I had only done a few yoga videos that I had on DVD as a quick workout. I was honestly afraid to go with her to the class but left signing up for a monthly unlimited package and continuing to go to the studio 6 days a week for the next 4 years! I fell in love and knew this was the path I needed to take to feel whole. Yoga was the tool I used to find the kindness I needed to support my back and body’s needs, my emotional state, and grow into someone who cares about myself. It taught me it was perfectly okay to slow down, listen to what my body needed and DO IT!
