Padlet is a free online visual collaboration tool, it uses boards for collecting, organising, and presenting content. It allows you to easily add notes, text, images, videos, and drawings to your wall, and collaborate, reflect, post comments, share links and pictures.
Users can create a hidden wall with a custom URL that can then be shared or embedded into a blog or website. Padlet works across multiple devices including mobile phones.
You can sign up for a free personal Padlet account at padlet.com, or you can sign up for a college account using the details below:
To activate your institutional Padlet account, sign in to Padlet using your College email address (your student number @cityofglacol.ac.uk) and password, use the option Microsoft authentication at cityofglasgowcollege.padlet.org. If you already have a free Padlet account you will be given the choice to bringing your Padlets into your College account or keeping your free account separate.
Follow these steps to sign up for a College institutional Padlet account:
Go to Padlet to Sign up for a Padlet account (cityofglasgowcollege.padlet.org)
Click the Signup option.
Select Sign up with Microsoft button, use your college email address and password to create an account.
Padlet will send you a Microsoft authentication code, enter the code to authenticate your account.
Select the option I'm a student.
On the Select a plan page, under Free account select the Get started button, this will take you to your Padlet Home page.
