Loom is a free screen and video recording software. With Loom, you can record your camera, microphone, and desktop simultaneously. Capture your screen, record your front-facing camera, and narrate it all at once, then instantly share with a simple link.
You can create a free Loom account by signing up using your College email address - see instructions below.
Here is how to sign up for a free Loom account.
Go to the Loom login page.
In the Record your first Loom video in seconds dialogue box;
use the work email option - and enter your College email address.
In the next dialogue box add in your name, create a password then click the Continue button.
You will be prompted to Verify your email, open your email account, find the Loom email. Click the Verify your email address blue button in the email.
You will be taken to the Loom login page;
select the Work email option, log in using the email address and password you set up.
On the next page, How you are planning to use Loom select one of the options.
Turn off the Teammates can automatically join option, then click the +Create a new Workspace instead option.
Add in a name for your Workspace then click the Continue button.
On the Invite your teammates page you have 3 options, choose the option required;
add in the email addresses of those you wish to invite into your workspace.

or click not now.
On the next page you will be prompted to Choose your recorder, the Chrome extension is recommended.
You will be taken to the Chrome web store. Click the Add to Chrome button. Once downloaded the Loom icon will appear in the Chrome browser for quick access.
