FAQs for Std 11 Admissions (Academic Year 2025-26)
1. Does the school offer subjects from Science, Commerce as well as Arts Stream?
Yes, Millennium offers Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science which are mainly subjects from the Science Stream. Subjects from Commerce and Humanities are offered not just as specific streams, but also as a combination of the school offers a Liberal Arts program.
2. How many subjects do students study in Std 11 and 12?
English is a compulsory subject for Std 11 and 12. Other than English, students should choose 4 other subjects. So, all students study 5 subjects in Std 11 and 12.
3. What is a S.H.A.P.E program? Which undergraduate courses could I opt for with such subject combinations?
S.H.A.P.E is a broader discipline that includes subjects from Arts, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics etc. Several courses and career options with a Liberal Arts curriculum are possible.
Not all undergraduate programs have a requirement of stream-specific subject choices. You may explore the eligibility Criteria of the Universities offering courses that interest you. It will also guide you for the courses available under each domain and the institutes offering the courses, etc.

4. Can we take regular graduation courses like BA/ BCom after 12th with Liberal Arts (SHAPE)?
Yes. For admission to almost all the BA/ B Com courses, having passed 12th grade examination is the criteria. A few colleges additionally have their own entrance test and/or prefer candidates who have opted Accountancy, Economics etc.
5. Will I be allowed to change the subject in Class XII?
As the process of student registration happens in Class XI, any change of subject after registration requires CBSE approval and payment of processing charges to CBSE.
6. When will the academic year 2025-26 begin at MILLENNIUM?
The Academic Year 2025-26 is planned to begin in June 2025.
7. What is the admission intake and average class strength?
There are two divisions each of 11th and 12th with an average of 40 in each class.
8. Does the school offer any co-curricular activities at the Senior Secondary level?
A dedicated Sports slot (7 am - 8 am MON-FRI) is made available for students of Senior Secondary. The choices for availing the Sport-specific program and details of payment will be made available in the month of June 2025.
Apart from sports, you will also get opportunities to lead or organize an event and participate in various In-House webinars, Nexus courses, Club activities, competitions etc. This year we will be starting an in-house Hobbies / Club program which the students in the school can avail, at NO ADDITIONAL COST. The students will get to learn the hobby(ies) of their choice and also enroll in some interesting clubs. (however, please note that the charges for any sports activities are not included in the school admission fees.)
9. What will my weekly timetable look like? Will I have back-to-back classes for the entire duration?
Apart from sports slots every morning, there will be co-curricular activities. Though there will be some back-to-back classes, you will also have dedicated time and space for self-study as well as your project, assignments and practical-related work.
10. I have been a student of Millennium till Std 10. Do I have to repay caution money and Admission fees for taking admission to Std 11?
One time admission Fees and Deposit are waived off for Millennium students if paid at the time of earlier admission. Waiver will be reflected in the payment details which you will receive at the time of confirmation of admission.
11. Will canteen facilities be available?
Yes, breakfast and lunch are available. Coupons must be purchased for these meals and can be obtained from the uniform section.
12. Will I be able to avail school transport?
Yes, the school offers a transport facility, depending on the availability of seats on the bus and the school's timing.
13. After taking admission may I get a chance to attend the subjects of my interest and then finalize the five subjects?
After your initial choice of subjects, if you wish to explore one or two other subjects before narrowing down on the final four subjects apart from English, you may discuss it with the staff at the time of admission counselling.
14. After taking admission in Millennium, may I get an opportunity to learn the subject or do the practical which I have not opted for, in my free slots?
It depends on the subjects you have chosen and their spacing in the timetable. However, you can discuss it with the faculty to decide how this arrangement could be made possible. We do have students learning in SHAPE going for Biology practicals out of interest.
15. I am not very clear about what exactly I want to pursue after the 12th. How will the school help me in shaping my decision?
It's quite common for a 10th or even a 12th grader to be indecisive about which courses to choose in upcoming years. Various school activities such as sports, events and other co-curricular activities will build your personality. Additionally, with teacher mentoring, Student-led webinars and alumni network you will get an insight into what interests you the most. These insights will help you in making the right choices.
16. What is the mechanism for the parents to get the feedback of their ward?
Parent-teacher meeting Saturdays are marked in the school calendar. Apart from that, if the parents wish to meet a specific teacher with an agenda, an appointment with the teacher can be booked in advance.
17. Commercial Art seems to be an interesting subject option. May I opt for it even if I have not passed the elementary and intermediate drawing examinations?
It is not mandatory to pass the Elementary or Intermediate examinations to choose this subject at the Senior Secondary level, but we recommend completing them concurrently. Commercial Art requires artistic skills and can benefit careers in Architecture, Graphic Designing, Fashion Designing, and Interior Designing.
