What does the money go towards?

• Competition Fees - ~$13,000 per year

• Robot and build material costs - ~$8,000 per year

• T-shirts and promotional items: ~$1,500 per year

• Regional travel costs - ~$8,000 per year

• FIRST Championship travel costs (if we qualify) - ~$8,000

• MN State High School League Robotics Championship (if we qualify based on our first regional performance) - ~$1500

What else does the team do to fundraise?

• Root beer float sales at Digi-Key (twice a year) and at high school sporting events

What does the team do outside of competitions?

• Demonstrations of our robot at the elementary, middle, & high schools

• Presentations at the public library

• Offer summer robotics camp for elementary students

• Activities during Computer Science Week

• Attend summer programming camp @ Bemidji State University

• Network & collaborate with other robotics teams
