5/16/2023 - Last Day! 

Today we celebrated the last day of the season with a DQ cake and said farewell to our seniors. We hope you guys succeed in all of your endeavors!

5/2/2023 - Digi-Key Meet and Greet

We had a meet and greet at Digi-Key yesterday. The team got to show off our robot, talk about robotics, and even help some of the attendees drive the bot! We also had a delicious lunch courtesy of Digi-Key's meal service.

4/25/2023 - Tech Expo

We attended the GigaZone Tech Expo in Bemidji last week. Our team had tons of fun playing Magic the Gathering and several other games.

4/18/2023 - Sports Boosters

About a week ago, we displayed our robot to the sports boosters at the American Legion. The team enjoyed talking to the people there and answering their questions. Afterward, we ate pizza!

4/3/2023 - Iowa Regional

From March 22 to March 25, we participated in the Iowa Regional in Cedar Falls. There, we participated in qualification matches, but were not chosen to participate in the finals. In the end, we finished with a record of 2 wins, 8 losses, and 0 ties. Our final rank was 54th.

3/14/2023 - Great Northern Regional

From March 8 to March 11, we participated in the Great Northern Regional in Grand Forks, ND. There, we participated in several matches and unfortunately suffered two big breaks. They were quickly fixed, and we finished with a record of 4 wins, 6 losses, and 0 ties. However, we ended up ranked 32nd and were not chosen for any alliances. 

3/02/2023 - Grabby

This week we have been putting together a swerve drive for later uses. Our previous claw was also facing some issues, namely not being able to grab and hold the objects, so we replaced it with something different. Behold our new claw!

2/16/2023 - Work, work, work

We have attached a claw to the end of our robot's arm and the programmers are making some headway with autonomous driving. 

Also, we will be attending a week 0 event at Bemidji this Saturday.

2/8/2023 - The Work Continues

Our builders have been able to attach the arm to our robot and our programmers have been fixing radio issues. We will also be volunteering at a Vex robotics competition this Saturday. 

2/2/2023 - Significant Progress

Our team has made significant progress on our robot's arm. We have also been looking at prototypes of the claw that will be attached to our robot. 

1/25/2023 - Sleepy Susan

We have a plate on the robot that we will put the arm on. We are also putting a lazy Suzan with a pulley under it.

1/19/2023 - Definite Progress 

Our robot now has a working drive train, and we've begun to work on our arm!

1/12/2023 - Week 1 of Building! 

The first week of the official robotics season is underway! So far, we have two ideas for our drive train: Tank and Swerve. The programmers have been busy programming the two drive trains and teaching new members. The builders have been doing the same.

1/7/2023 - Bell Ringing and Kickoff Happy New Year! 

In the past couple of weeks, we rang bells for the Salvation Army and attended the 2023 season kickoff. We are now brainstorming ideas for our new robot.
