Snack and Chats for 2022/2023
The first Cowboys Read! Snack and Chat for the 2022/2023 school year was on Thursday, September 1st in the McCollum Courtyard.
We had a lot of fun making fortune tellers from old book pages, coloring book marks, and talking about the books and our Harry Potter Book Club. And, of course, I got so busy that I forgot to take pictures of our discussions and fun crafts! I will get better at that!

This month we created ribbon book marks with decorations and beads. We had a great turn-out and so much fun! Many of the students made bookmarks for their friends and family as well as for themselves.

Sit, take a breath, and color! It was the best thing to do on this lovely fall day. We had a great time talking about all of the new titles!

Happy Holidays! We made snowflakes to decorate for the upcoming holiday break.
January 4th, 2023
Welcome back! We took some time out of our busy day to color and make geometric shapes.

We made a never-ending Valentine's Day card, and talked about all of the love-ly books for the month.
March 2, 2023
We made beaded bookmarks and bracelets! We had a lot of fun being creative and talking about this month's book selections, and we had many students join us that hadn't before. It was our biggest turn-out yet!

We had so much fun making beaded bookmarks and bracelets that we brought it back for April! We had many visitors and lots of fun, and we enjoyed talking about the month's titles.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our lunchtime event, but we are giving away all of our books from last year! They are available in the 800s Library Foyer.
