Apprenticeship Programme Manager, South Yorkshire ICB
I started my NHS career as a Registered Mental Health Nurse working in Chester, Wirral and Wakefield for 12 years, predominantly in acute mental health services. Then in 2001 I moved into Learning and Development in a vocational education role, spending the next 15 years in training roles supporting the mental health workforce and latterly managing apprenticeship provision.
My current role sits within the workforce hub of the ICS, externally facing to support South Yorkshire’s health and social care employers to manage apprenticeships. This includes supporting both levy and non-levy paying employers, maximising apprenticeship levy, coordinating transfers and ensuring information, collaboration and best practice are shared across our various groups and professions.
