The NHS Long term workforce plan (2023) articulates that apprenticeships are an effective way of both growing the workforce and widening participation. Apprenticeships are a hugely successful way of tackling workforce planning, upskilling work force through 'grow your own' and enhancing widening participation and social mobility. This conference aims to promote the benefits of apprenticeships across all levels of practice, show-casing apprenticeship journeys and hearing about new developments strategy, practicalities and impact.
The conference is all online and free to attend. It would be of interest to anyone with an interest in health apprenticeships for example prospective apprentices, current or prospective employers, strategic workforce leads, work-based mentors/coaches, apprenticeship leads, academics, schools and colleges, professional bodies and other NHS bodies
The conference is being organised by Sheffield Hallam University but the aim is that the conference is relevant to anyone nationally who has an interest in health apprenticeships ranging across all levels of practice.
We hope you find the event interesting and helpful.
