February Note: I’ve noticed some students have had trouble staying on task and meeting deadlines, which can make grading tricky.
To help, I created a document listing all graded items, assignments, and due dates. January through March is outlined, and April will be added soon. This is meant to help students stay organized and understand how their work counts toward their grade as grades are earned by completing work on time and putting in effort. Having everything on the slide deck along with printed handouts in class will support your organization and progress!
January Note: After reflecting on everyone’s Semester 1 S.I. presentations and reviewing peer feedback, many of you recognized opportunities to dive deeper into your S.I. topic, explore new approaches, and strengthen your work overall. Some of you may have already begun experimenting with these ideas over winter break. Before we return to our regular routine, I want to set us up for a productive and successful start to the semester so this is our focus.
