Last week, we practiced sharp focus and color grading by shooting florals using one of the room 109 Macro lenses. Some stunningly beautiful compositions below.
Before Thanksgiving Break, students finished the Golden Hour Landscape project, and Photo 1 students captured some truly stunning photographs. This assignment was a challenge — students had to plan ahead and shoot at the perfect time of day — but it successfully introduced them to the warm tones, dramatic lighting, and mood that make golden hour so powerful in photography.

In Photo 2, we recently completed a digital-to-darkroom flip — students digitally inverted their photographs and then printed them in the darkroom using traditional enlargers. This project helped bridge digital editing and analog printing, showing students how photographic processes connect across time, technology, and technique.
