Actress and reality TV star Chrishell Stause is a Draffenville native (b. 1981) and talented Murray State theatre grad who starred in campus productions as Cecily in “The Importance of Being Earnest” and Shelby in “Steel Magnolias.” Chrishell recounts the story of how she earned her unique name after her mother went into early labor at a Shell station and an attendant named Chris helped with the delivery on her reality show Selling Sunset.
Stause played Amanda Dillon in All My Children from 2005-2011, and Jordan Ridgeway in Days of Our Lives from 2013-2015 and 2019-2020. Her more recent work as a high-end realtor has been showcased in the hit show Selling Sunset on Netflix. Recently, Stause has been a celebrity competitor in season 29 of Dancing with the Stars.
