Students should access Naviance by:
Opening up a Google Chrome tab
Click on the 9 dots in the top right corner (Google waffle)
Click Student Naviance Portal.
*Students do not use Naviance to apply to colleges. Naviance is used to request that transcripts be sent to colleges, and to request letters of recommendation from staff.
Steps to Apply:
Submit applications via Common App or directly through the college's website.
AFTER applications are submitted, students should submit transcript requests through Naviance.
Common App: Students must "match" their Common App and Naviance accounts in the "Colleges I'm Applying To" section.
If colleges require a letter of recommendation as part of the application, students should ask their teacher in person if they are willing to write a letter. They should then follow up with a request in Naviance.
Students must request transcripts and letters of recommendation at least two weeks before a deadline.
