- Participated in a course to better understand the health systems of Canada and to imagine alternatives.
Wilderness Medicine; 2022
- Learned to provide immediate intervention and stabilization for medical emergencies in remote settings.
Diabetes Camp, Insulin Assist, Medical Team; 2022; AB
- Assisted young adults with diabetes to manage their insulin needs and any hypo- or hyperglycemic episodes, including night checks, resulting in a safe and enjoyable environment for hundreds of campers.
Social Justice Community of Service and Scholarship; 2021-22
- Engaged in a longitudinal transformative learning experience designed to enhance social accountability among medical students, consisting of six workshops and community engagement - I partnered with an Indigenous addiction recovery group to analyze survey data and optimize their process.
