Represented millions of undergraduate students on a national committee, creating a globally unprecedented document providing high-level guidelines to Canadian post-secondary institutions; and presented at numerous workshops/ events providing student perspective and educating stakeholders. Contributed and served on the committee which designed and authored the standard as the only current undergraduate student and subsequently professional undergraduate student on the committee.

Description:
Delivered ~10 mental health and well-being workshops to post-secondary students as a trained peer facilitator by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, resulting in enhanced mental health literacy for ~150 post-secondary students. The workshop as designed to increase mental health awareness, decrease stigma, promote resource seeking, share experiences, and build a healthier community. Networked and organized groups of student cohorts and student leaders to take the course together.
