Morning Announcements Productions

For this semester, there are three possible products to create for Morning Announcements:

(1) A Commercial.

• Keep it to exactly 30 - 60 seconds.
• Have the person who is offering the product/service/opportunity appear in the commercial.

(2) Opening Sequence

• These are the names (2020-2021) that must be part of the sequence:
  • Crew: Maya Jones, Sydney Kalafut, Nathan Kerr, Harry Mullin, Samantha Osborne, Harrison Pittle.
  • Cast: Miguel Bracco, Danny Flynn, Wally Friberg, Brian Lascek, Michael Mylen, Rhiannon Strazisar.
• Keep the sequence to no more than 20 seconds.

(3) PSA:

• Keep it to exactly 30 - 60 seconds.
• Strive to have create an emotional response in the audience.
• Look for something new. Some inventive take on the subject.
  • Can you make a metaphor --
    • Show how ridiculous smoking is by comparing it to sucking fumes from a tailpipe?
    • Show that smoking causes you to sign a (imaginary) contract that ties you to the addiction for life?
    • Etc.
