Friends of Lebo Media Arts

Part of our funding for Media Arts activities and equipment comes from fundraising.  If you're interested in helping our program secure the latest and greatest gear, please consider a donation to our program. 

Alternatively, if any of your videography gear is sitting around gathering dust, please consider donating it to the students of the Mt. Lebanon Media Arts program.  Your old gear will be well-used and appreciated by the students in our program.  We're specifically searching for action cameras (like GoPro, or similar) and accessories to use to create action sports videos (specifically skiing, parkour, and skateboarding).

Other things on our wish list include:

• BROADCAST STUDIO EQUIPMENT:

  • • Upgrading to HD Cameras in the broadcast studio.  We have an HD switcher, and the capacity for handling HD video--but our cameras are SD.  We are currently using Sony D-30 cameras.

• FILMMAKING EQUIPMENT

  • • Field monitor & protective case.  In order to allow students to see the images they are creating, a field monitor connects to the output of their camera and allows a better view of the work.  (Sony LMD-941W 9" LCD Monitor and Porta Brace MO-LMD940 Flat Screen Field Monitor Case)
