How I Do It
Your staff work hard to understand your audience and craft messaging that resonates. But is that messaging actually reaching the audience?
Your emails are only effective if your list segmentation strategy accurately delivers the emails to the people who signed up for them. Your website only communicates your vision if the HTML is structured correctly so supporters with disabilities can access your content. Your campaigns only advance your mission if the deliverables are completed on time and with the right branding.
JR manages these technical details so your internal staff can focus on the creative work that is unique to you.
Why I Do It
Why the environment?
The environment is not spectacular landscapes in national parks, charismatic megafauna that most of us will never see, or trees as urban decorative objects. The environment is the systems that provide us with air, food, water, flood control, and stable weather patterns. The environment is critical infrastructure - but it is in a state of accelerating collapse. JR works to slow, stop, and reverse this global crisis.
Why DEI?
DEI does not mean "giving unfair advantages to people of color;" it simply means "NOT giving unearned preference to candidates from more privileged backgrounds." Yes, bringing about more fairness comes at a cost to those who are benefiting from the existing system - but under that theory, we should roll back women's suffrage and revive slavery. The arc of justice bends towards DEI. JR is proud to stand on the right side of history.
