Humour

Humour

Genuine laughter is good for us. It helps to lift our moods and promote wellbeing.

Laughter also brings people together. Shared laughter brings us closer to each other and promotes liking between people. Unshared laughter, on the other hand, (eg when one person laughs at another person's expense) can be damaging to relationships and probably isn't great for the wellbeing of either person!

This week's practice is to find some humour in the world to make you laugh. It may be bad dad jokes, youtube videos of kittens, a comedy show, silly songs about the corona virus. Find something humorous each day and share in your e-folio.

Try sharing it with others in your household too and see if you can find some shared laughter!
