Hunt the Good Stuff

We all have good things in our lives, but we do not always recognise or acknowledge them.

Research http://www.dailygood.org/pdf/dg.php?sid=532 shows that by noticing the good things in our lives on a regular basis we can counteract our natural negativity bias.

The US Army teaches this to soldiers and their families to decrease their risk of PTSD. They call it "Hunting the Good Stuff"

This practice asks you to hunt for three things to be grateful for each day this week and to record these in some way on the Gratitude page of your e-folio.

Take photos, keep a decorative journal, write a poem or song, make an artwork... be creative but make sure that you find three things to be grateful for, record them and save them to a Gratitude sub-page on your e-folio.
