Conference Agenda

Education sessions are grouped into 6 tracks in alignment with NUEL Focus Areas plus a track focused on Extension administration:
Strengthen Communities, Protect the Environment, Improve Our Health, Enrich Youth, Feed the Future, and Admin.

Types of Presentation Sessions:

  • Keynote & Plenary - All conference attendees will be together.

  • Panel Presentation - 60 minutes in length. 3-5 colleagues/peers will discuss a topic specific to urban communities and will engage the audience in a question and answer/conversational portion.

  • Individual Presentation - A presenter or presenter team will have 12 minutes to discuss their topic. Multiple individual presentations will be grouped by theme in a 60 minute session, with Q&A time at the end.

  • Lightning Talk - Presenters will have exactly 5 minutes to present, using 20 slides. Slides automatically advance every 15 seconds. Multiple Lightning Talks will be grouped in a 60 minute session, with Q&A time at the end.

  • Poster Presentation - Presenters will have 5 minutes to introduce their posters. Multiple Poster Presentations will be grouped by theme in a 60 minute session, with Q&A time at the end. Posters will also be available on the Whova conference app for attendees to study in greater detail.

  • Dinner attendees may check-in at the Aquarium starting at 5:00pm.

  • Event kicks off at 5:30pm with a brief Welcome Address, and first course served at 5:35pm so be sure to leave time to check in before!
