In November 2019 I attended the ACTFL conference. This was by far the largest and most professional language teaching conference I've been to, and it provided numerous opportunities for professional growth and refreshment. The MAFLT crew has a presence at the conference every year, and it was great to connect with the colleagues I've learned so much from. Scroll down to find:

ACTFL 2019 Conference
This lesson plan starts by reviewing the Novice level building blocks of formulaic question & location words. It then spirals into the Intermediate level by having students interrogate each other with dynamic questions and answers about their travel plans as they take on the role of boarding school leave master.
