During the MAFLT Program, I completed many different tasks that were designed to connect the theories I have encountered with my pedagogical practices. The links below go to projects that demonstrate my emerging expertise in key areas of language teaching. Although the sections are separated into Assessment, Interculturality and Technology, the use of technology for language learning is present in all three. The assessment design I have shared is designed for online courses, and the intercultural lesson also utilizes technology throughout to support learning and reflection.
This page contains an online assessment which I developed to assess listening, reading, speaking and writing skills. It shares my design rationale as well as a video which presents the assessment instruments, including the rubrics and tools used for the assessment delivery.
This page contains the intercultural lesson I have created to encourage intercultural development through the exploration of traditional childhood games.
This section presents my design rationale for the 6 lesson online unit I have designed on communities. Additionally, it shares my classroom research proposal on Computer-Assisted Pronunciation Training and related tools.
