Although I have been teaching for a short time in the grand scheme of a career, my experiences have led me to have a deeper understanding of what being a language teacher means. To me, it's creating a safe space for students to grow their viewpoints of the world and creating responsible global citizens. Through my education and travel experiences, I feel I have been prepared to do just this within my classroom.
