結合學科領域教學推動人文教育以提升全校教職員工生人文素養。
推動閱讀思辨表達相關課程及活動，落實明道教育中軸線理念與價值。
統籌並推動國際交流、國際論壇、國際志工、國際競賽、國際社群及國內探索教育等國際教育相關課程及活動，發展全校國際視野。
整合校內外公私部門相關資源，推動人文社會、財經法政、模擬聯合國、SDGs等學生社群相關課程及活動。
培養全局思維、系統思考、Critical Thinking及Desige Thinking等學習者特質，推動全校師生思維模式學習社群。
Combine teaching subjects to enhace humanistic education and humanistic attainment of the faculty.
Emphasize reading and speculative expression related courses and activities.
Provide international education-related courses and activities such as international exchanges, international forums, international volunteers, international competitions, international communities, and domestic exploration education.
Integrate resources and encourage project activities in the area of humanities and society, finance and law, Model United Nations, and SDGs.
Develop global thinking, system thinking, critical thinking and desige thinking.

【重要成果】：
主辦全球華文學生文學獎持續43年，每年投稿約1600篇，是全台最早專為中學生舉辦的文學創作獎，參賽者遍及臺灣、日韓、星馬、美加及紐澳等地華人子弟，評審陣容堅強，已故余光中教授曾擔任過28屆評審。
2016年開始舉辦TEDx Mingdao HS Youth講座，乃全國唯一向TED總部申請並由在校生及校友攜手主講的TEDx。
1976年創辦《明道文藝》至今共獲得7次行政院新聞局優良雜誌金鼎獎，10次教育部新聞局文建會等優良雜誌獎勵，2008年起年年獲得文化部優良雜誌補助。
2021年繼明道文藝之後第一本由學生獨力完成的校園刊物-青衿誌創刊號問世，展現明道學子的多元視野與全局思維。
2019年本校更同時獲得「全國高中績優圖書館」及「教育部閱讀磐石學校」的雙項肯定。
Hightlights：
Consecutively hosted an annual ceremony of the Chinese Literary Prize for Global Youth for 43 years. It is the first reward created in Taiwan for worldwide chinese students.
Mingdao has been authorized by TED headquaters to Held TEDx Mingdao HS Youth since 2016. It is the only TEDxYouth hosted by current students and alumnis.
Since the founding of Mingdao Publication in 1976, it has won 7 Golden Tripod Awards for Excellent Magazines from the Information Bureau of the Executive Yuan, 10 awards from the Cultural Affairs Commission of the Information Bureau of the Ministry of Education. Since 2008, it has been sponcored by the Ministry of Culture every year.
In 2021, the first issue of Qingjin Zhi, the first campus magazin completed by students independently, was published.
In 2019, Mingdao also won the double affirmation of "National High School Excellent Library" and "Ministry of Education Reading Rock School".
