Drama 1

Drama 1 is an introductory course to all things theatre. This course is for drama newcomers and enthusiasts alike. Usual units in Drama 1 are as follows: history of theatre, basic terminology, lights and sound, set construction, props, makeup and costuming, scripts, and acting. There are also fun units on Shakespeare and musical theatre. Students who enroll in this course should expect many hands-on and active activities such as a wound makeup workshop, costume designing, script writing, acting, and kinesthetic theatre games.
