Agriculture Mechanics

Prerequisite: Introduction to Agriculture

This course focuses on the technological applications in the agriculture industry.  Students will be challenged to design, construct and adapt many projects.  This course will cover the major areas of agricultural mechanics including surveying, identification of tools, electricity, harvesters and planter units, arc welding, MIG welding, cutting with oxy-fuels, small engines, plumbing, masonry work, and structures.  Students will complete a supervised agriculture experience program.  Students will also be able to compete and participate in all FFA activities.
