Reagan families,
Next week, we are excited to host our first Inclusion Week at Reagan. Throughout the week, students will engage in activities and conversations centered around recognizing the strengths that make each of us unique. This is an important opportunity for us to continue building a school community where every student feels valued and has a true sense of belonging. Be sure to check out this week’s newsletter for our Inclusion Week theme days, and we encourage you to continue these conversations at home by talking with your child about what inclusion looks like in their everyday lives.

Miss Saub
Congratulations, Miss Saub on being our staff member of the week.
Maddie is one of our kindergarten teachers this year and joined Reagan as a mid-year hire. Since joining our community, she has brought positivity, confidence, and consistency to our school. Maddie has quickly become a valuable asset to our staff through her friendly demeanor, positive energy, and dedication to intentional lesson planning. Her commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences has made a positive impact on her students’ educational success.
Miss Saub will be joining the second grade team next year!
Reagan is looking forward to celebrating Inclusion Week—a time dedicated to helping students understand, appreciate, and respect the differences that make each of us unique. Through age-appropriate activities and discussions, students will explore topics like empathy, kindness, accessibility, and belonging.
Inclusion Week is important because it helps children build the social and emotional skills they need to thrive in a diverse world. When students learn to recognize and value different perspectives, abilities, and experiences, they become more compassionate classmates and more confident individuals. It also reinforces our commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.
We encourage families to continue these conversations at home by talking about kindness, asking questions, and celebrating what makes your family and others special. Together, we can nurture a community where everyone belongs!
