Reagan Community,
As we turn the final pages of our One School, One Book journey, we want to celebrate what an incredible experience this has been for our entire school community! It has been so special to know that students, families, and staff have been reading the same story, sharing conversations, and building a love of reading together.
We are especially grateful to our amazing Parents with Heart PTO for generously funding a book for every family. Because of their support, each household was able to participate fully in this shared experience, helping create meaningful discussions at home and lasting memories for our Reagan Eagles.
Thank you to everyone who read along. We love seeing our school community come together around books, and we can’t wait to do it again! 📚

The Reagan staff began the process of designing class lists for the 2026-27 school year earlier this month. Historically, there have been a significant amount of teacher requests from parents each year, so I thought it would be helpful to reiterate how class lists have been and will continue to be created.
Our main goal is to provide positive experiences for all students! We strive to create balanced classrooms with regard to personalities, abilities, needs, learning styles, peer relations, and gender balance. Staff work to place students in a learning environment that best meets their needs. Each child is considered individually by members of the following teams: Teachers who currently work within the grade level, HAL, Special Education, Speech Language Pathologist, Administration, Interventionists, and the School Counselor.
As you can see, a great deal of thought and effort goes into making these class lists. Requests for a specific teacher will not be considered as we are in the hiring season, and staffing at each grade level is still being determined. In addition, granting these types of specific teacher requests would undo the process that has been carefully put together and jeopardize the integrity of that work. We believe that children need to learn to work in and with a variety of circumstances both in terms of personnel and environment.
We recognize that you value your child's education and can offer valuable insight about them. If you would like to share information to help guide our conversations into your child’s placement for next year, please complete the following Google Form. This information will be considered when Reagan teams make placement decisions and begin grouping students. This input Google form below will close at the end of the day on Thursday, March 5th to allow staff time to complete this work diligently and carefully.
Thank you for your trust and support.

We are excited to share some wonderful news! We have been fortunate to add additional instructional paraprofessionals to our team.
With this extra support, we can provide students with more opportunities to work with other adults in small-group settings for both reading and math. This added instructional time allows us to better meet individual student needs, offer targeted support, and strengthen learning in these core content areas.
Students are selected for instructional groups based on a variety of data and input, including MAP assessment results, classroom performance, and teacher observations. These groups are fluid and may change throughout the semester as we continue to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed.
We are thrilled about the positive impact this will have on our students and look forward to seeing their continued growth.
We invite you to sign-up to volunteer at Reagan for our WatchDOGS and Super MOMS program!
Please limit sign-ups to two per household to allow all Reagan families to participate throughout the school year.
