Reagan Community,
Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! We have a FANTASTIC school with involved families, exceptional teachers, and engaged students.
Don't hesitate to contact me anytime with questions, celebrations, or concerns. All Reagan staff members strive to provide your child with the best educational experience possible. Our next Regal Eagle will be sent out on Friday, August 1st. These newsletters will include a lot of information, but they will greatly help your family if you are familiar with all things 2025-2026 at Reagan Elementary.
I look forward to working with you during this school year, and we will see you all very soon at Open House on Thursday, August 7th!
Mrs. Brittany Wunderlich
Principal
Soaring to Success!
This year, our school’s theme is "Soaring to Success!" Just like birds taking flight, we believe every student has the power to rise, grow, and achieve great things. With hard work, kindness, and a positive attitude, we can all reach new heights together. Throughout the year, we’ll celebrate learning, teamwork, and perseverance as we soar toward success. Let’s make this our best year yet!
Do you know of someone looking for a great place to work? Have them apply to be a resource paraprofessional today!

Teacher assignments are based on many factors, including academic needs, a blending of students, and gender balance. Following these considerations, placement is assigned. We have great teachers, supportive parents, and wonderful kids.
Please know much thought has been given to the placement of each child.
We love having visitors and partnering with parents, grandparents, and community volunteers! Please refer to the following district policies as a refresher for the new school year.
Visiting Reagan or Picking Up Early
We put student and staff safety first. We will always follow district policy 5740.1.
Buzz the Front Office for Entry.
Share your First and Last Name and the reason for your visit.
Show your ID to our office staff for verification and to receive your visitor's badge.
Volunteers
We will follow district policy for screening procedures for volunteers in the classroom. This policy applies to all persons who are not district employees, current students, parents, or grandparents of current students.
Medication is given at school only when necessary. All unexpired medication (prescription or non-prescription) must be brought to school by an adult in the original container. Do not send medication with a student or in their backpack. A current medication card must be on file in the health room for any medication to be given to students at school. You can complete this process during Open House in the office.
Click here to view the 2025-2026 suggested school supplies list.
If you ordered from 1st Day School Supplies, these items will be placed on your child's desk in time for Open House.
Please see the traffic flow linked. We all can help support successful arrival and dismissal by following this traffic flow.
Safety is always the most important- it's our #1 rule! We take special care during peak times in the morning and afternoon to ensure everyone's safety. The first few days back at school are always a little more hectic. We will have a lot of staff members outside to assist with traffic flow and safety. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and respect in advance. Please follow the listed safety guidelines whenever children are dropped off or picked up at school.
Observe all posted signage related to traffic.
Always remain in your car when dropping off/picking up your child(ren) along the curbs. Staff members will be available to assist your children in exiting or entering a vehicle.
Children should exit/enter cars only through the curbside door.
Please observe arrival and dismissal times.
Having your child at school on time is important, as classes start promptly at 8:30.
Dismissal time is also essential as staff members have additional responsibilities at the end of each school day. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday dismissal is at 3:30, and Wednesdays, we dismiss at 2:30.
We are asking that you plan to attend Open House by following the recommended time slots by the first letter of your child's last name. This is recommended but not required if it does not work in your schedule that evening.
These time slots not only help with parking but also allows better opportunities for teachers to welcome their new students and families.
We look forward to seeing you!

SCHOOL HOURS: 8:30-3:30 - Mon, Tues, Th, Fri
8:30-2:30 - Wednesdays
Teachers will meet their students outside at 8:10. All teachers will have a sign with their names.
See the image for where you can approximately meet your child's teacher. Once teachers have all of their students, they will lead students into the building.
Please plan to say your goodbyes in the car or at the entrance; we will not be screening guests for entry into the building as our focus will be on the students.
You will be guided into the health room if you need to drop off medication.
Please plan with your child ahead of time. It can be stressful for students when they do not know how they are getting home. After-school plans should be established with your child before the school day begins to minimize interruptions during instruction.
At Reagan, PreK-2 students dismiss out the front doors, and students in grades 3-5 dismiss out the back doors and walk around the outside of the building through the blacktop area.
School attendance is incredibly important, but we know that children get sick and family emergencies arise. Reporting your child's absence has never been easier!
Skip the phone call, voicemail, and/or email. All you need to do is submit an absence on your ParentVUE! Review the following document to ensure you are all set up and ready for the new school year.
You will receive an email confirmation after the attendance office has reviewed and accepted your request.
