Reagan Families,
We hope to see you all tonight at our Parents with Heart event. We will be playing BINGO and have lots of great prizes for multiple winners.
Please remember to send jackets, sweatshirts, or coats with students as our mornings are chilly for arrival and morning recess. We want to keep kids as healthy as possible!
For the safety of all students, please do not drop off or allow students to arrive on campus before 8:15 a.m. Supervision does not begin until that time, and we want to ensure every child is safe and monitored. Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our students safe.

REAGAN COMMUNITY SURVEY-
Help us reach 75% Reagan community survey completion to earn a school-wide extra recess. Millard Public Schools seeks to have engaged stakeholders to meet its mission. We want to hear from YOU! Our Reagan School Improvement Team (community members & staff) use the data and feedback to be responsive to celebrate and continue the GREAT things happening and also to close gaps in any areas where we need to continue to grow. The higher the participation the more in-tune we can be with our amazing community. Our hardworking staff values this information as we always strive for excellence.
Please take 10 minutes to provide us with your candid input. Your answers will be anonymous. If you have students in multiple buildings, you will receive a different link from each school. The survey window will remain open through November 14th.

Thank you for understanding how important this is to us. We appreciate your time.
November 10th -14th
Join us for our United Way Coin Wars!
All proceeds will be donated directly to the United Way to support families in the Omaha area.
Students will bring coins and grade levels will compete against each other.
The winning grade level will get to choose between the following prizes: Extra Recess, Movie Afternoon, or Tattoo the Principals!
Grade-level teachers and the office staff will determine whether students will go out for recess based on precipitation, wind chill, and temperature. We will plan for outside recess if the temperature or wind chill (“feels like”) is above 0 using weather.com at the time of the recess. This might mean that a grade level that has a recess at 10 AM may stay inside due to wind chill, and then it might warm up in the afternoon to allow for other grade levels to go outside. We will always go outside unless it is actively snowing and the area cannot be cleared in time for a safe recess.
Please dress students appropriately for the weather each day so they can fully participate. Classroom teachers will be communicating today what students in your child's grade level will be permitted to bring for outside winter play. There are many factors that go into this decision, such as length of recess, students' level of independence getting dressed/undressed, schedule for what is happening before/after recess, etc. Please make sure to take note of your child's grade level decision through their weekly communication/newsletter. Thank you for your partnership and cooperation in advance.
Week of November 10-14th
